COVID-19 Response at LF

We're reopening, in a limited capacity, on May 26th! At least, that's the plan as of now. As we slowly, safely reopen, our top priority continues to be keeping our community healthy and safe. This means additional cleaning, added precautions and limitations, and a general emphasis on healthy practices.
Rule #1: Stay home if you are sick or if anyone in your household is or has been sick. Stay home if you are coughing or sneezing, regardless of cause.
The gym will be open for reserved open gym slots and personal training, both of which you can sign up for on MindBody OR by texting or emailing the gym. You MUST sign up ahead of time - if you just show up, we might not have room for you. Open gym times will be listed under classes. At this time we'll be limiting ALL times in the gym to 10 people, including staff.
What to expect at the gym:
- Wash your hands before your workout, after your workout, and when you get home
- We'll have hand sanitizer, but not a lot, so please bring your own or wash your hands instead
- We will not require nor provide masks, but please feel free to wear one if you are more comfortable that way
- Avoid touching your face (all the time, really)
- Wipes will be available to clean equipment you've used
- Coaches will be doing more cleaning and disinfecting of obstacles and high-touch points
- Limit what you touch to what you'll use
- We won't be offering chalk
- We'll have more doors open more often to increase air flow and minimize high-touch points
- Try to plan your visit so you don't need to use the locker rooms. They will be available, but we'd like to limit their use when possible
- Don't share equipment with anyone outside your household
- Stay 6 feet apart from other people whenever possible
Open gym: 1-hour slots. You are welcome to stay for more than one if the next slot has room for you. Online signups close 30 minutes before the slot, feel free to text or call after that to check if there is room. Some times will be for ages 13+, others will be open to all ages.
We will have daily workouts available for you, as well as our library of YouTube workout plans and other workouts for you to choose from. A coach can always help you choose and get you set up with what you need.
Classes: We will not be resuming our class schedule yet for adults or for kids. Our virtual class schedule is subject to change, but we will definitely be having class this week Tuesday at 6PM and Saturday at 8AM.

Members: Come on in to the gym when we're open and you're ready! You'll get an email with more information about suspensions and extensions.
The full schedule will be updated in the next 2-3 days on our website and in MindBody. Our schedule may vary slightly from week to week as we open up more time slots, so let us know what you want to see.
Before we open, we have to finish our projects-in-process (like a giant awesome new obstacle we're excited to share) and do a solid deep clean of the gym. Depending on how that goes, there's a chance we'll be open exclusively for 1-on-1 training prior to the 26th. Join the LF Athletes group to make sure you don't miss that announcement if it comes.

We're planning on being closed at least through Memorial Day per current state recommendations. In the coming weeks, we'll be working on our reopening plan and asking all of you what you need and want from us to stay healthy and active.

We plan to stay closed for as long as we need to in order to help keep our community healthy and safe.

The gym is still closed, but we are working hard to help you stay active and healthy in every way we can.
The BIG news this week: the Help Carry the Load Virtual 5k/1mi - Carry something, ANYTHING, for 5k or 1 mile! 50% of profits will go to supporting the Hunger Task Force. You can complete it any time between April 18 and April 25!

March 30, 2020:
The gym will be closed as long as is needed to help keep our community healthy. We hope you are staying home and following all the experts' guidelines to keep everyone well. As of now, we don't anticipate reopening before the end of April.
We are doing our first live workout tomorrow (Tuesday 3/31) at 6PM! Join us on Zoom to do a workout, with video on or off. We'd love to see you, but we're happy to have you just follow along! March 23, 2020:
What a crazy week! We hope you are all staying healthy and well at home.
We are extending our closure through at least April 4th.
Given the coming state safer-at-home order, Tuesday March 24th will be the last day the gym will be open for 1-on-1s and private open gym for the time being.
We'll continue to post workouts on Youtube and in our Athletes page, as well as plenty of great tips for staying healthy and active even in these crazy times. Join the community and take care of yourself!
March 16, 2020:
As new information and projections come out, we have continued to consider our responsibility and what we can do. After much deliberation, we have decided to suspend all classes and open gym hours at Legendary Fitness beginning March 17th for a minimum of two weeks. We appreciate everyone's support as we try to do what is best for the health of our community amidst a declared national emergency. We believe that exercise is an important piece of staying physically and mentally healthy, especially at a time like this. That is why we'll be doing everything we can to support your health and fitness goals during this time: - Regularly posted at-home workouts - 1-on-1 training sessions in person or via video chat - Member check-ins in person or via video chat - Trail run/walk recommendations - Promoting fitness discussion, support, and virtual high fives via our Athletes group on Facebook If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions as to how we can better help you and all of our members, don't hesitate to contact us.

March 15, 2020:
We want you, and everyone, to be healthy. Here are the steps we're taking in this challenging time:
- Cleaning and disinfecting as much as we can in the gym.
- Cancelling Ninja Kids and Ninja Kids II classes for a minimum of 4 weeks.
- Cancelling our competition March 21-22.
- Maintaining our small adult class and open gym capacities.
- Extending open gym hours to lessen person-to-person contact.
- Providing online workouts for our members and others who choose to stay home.
- Supporting other small businesses by purchasing gift cards, ordering online, and thinking about how we can help everyone get through this.
- Staying educated and up-to-date. We recommend getting information directly from the CDC and other scientific sources, NOT social media.
We are a small space and a small business. We want to provide a safe space for you to continue to work on your goals, see friends, and work out your anxieties and frustrations with the challenges we are all facing. If you choose to stay home, please let us know what we can do to help you.
In the event that our staff becomes compromised, we may have to suspend operations. We will continue to do what we can to provide you with options to stay healthy and well and keep everyone around you healthy and well. We ask that you reconsider coming into the gym, and going out in general, if you have someone in your household in a vulnerable population.

We're open! We'll stay open as long as we can. Just a few simple rules:
1. STAY HOME if you're sick or have been near anyone who is sick
2. Wash your hands when you get to the gym and before you leave
3. Help us out by cleaning equipment you've used when you can
We want to remain open to help you all stay active, which helps boost immune systems! We do take this epidemic very seriously and will do everything we can to keep all of you and our coaches healthy and well.
